Origin story: After last year’s Brown Foundation dinner, Andrew and George approached Sue with a bold vision to liven up the dinner- a half-time show! ​

Instead of a half-time show, they got something bigger: a new Brown Foundation tradition- a student-run newspaper, The Brown Scholar Wordsmith. ​

Moral of this story: You never know what ridiculous conversation can spark an imaginative and lasting tradition! ​
