Megan graduated in 2015 from Albuquerque Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico. During her time at Texas A&M, Megan has become heavily involved in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and she will serve on the executive board for the student chapter for two years. She has been named and ERCOT Engineering Development Program Scholar and an IEEE Power and Energy Society Scholar, as well as receiving numerous Texas A&M scholarships. She has stayed busy with the University Honors program, peer teaching for freshman engineering classes, DAS, FLI, volunteering for Camp LIFE, and Undergraduate Research Scholars. Her research on cybersecurity for power grids has been published in an undergraduate thesis and at national conferences. Megan will graduate in May 2019 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and minors in Computer Science and Cybersecurity.
