Kathryn graduated summa cum laude from A&M in 2000 with a degree in Journalism. At A&M, she received the Gathright Award for the highest GPR for a junior in the College of Liberal Arts. She was Captain of the Diamond Darlings, the support group for A&M’s baseball team, was chosen to serve in MSC Hospitality and as a Fish Camp counselor. She won the top Scholar Award from the Kappa Tau Alpha Journalism Honor Society, the Department of Journalism Excellence in Academics Award and the Outstanding Junior Initiate Award from the Golden Key National Honor Society. She lives in The Woodlands, Texas, with her husband Paul and two sons, Ryan and Will. She says that she is sincerely grateful for the myriad ways of her years at A&M and the Brown Foundation’s most generous support thereof. Aggieland held for her unique opportunities for academic exploration, leadership development, and countless life lessons along the way which have built the framework for her successes.
