Biomedical Engineering

Nihitha graduated in 2026 from Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, TX.  Nihitha is a member of the Carroll Medical Academy and the Varsity Debate team.  She serves as a UNICEF Chapter President, Principal Trumpet in the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, and is a three-time DECA state medalist.  She conducts computational biology research on potential inhibitors of colorectal cancer metastasis, applying programming and data analysis to model molecular interactions.  In addition, she gained applied engineering experience through a year-long internship with Bell Helicopter, supporting aerospace teams working on tiltrotor systems and defense-related engineering projects.  In her free time, Nihitha enjoys painting, cooking, and serving the community.  Nihitha will graduate from A&M in 2030 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
