Kristina graduated from A&M in 2010 with a degree in Nuclear Engineering. She received the Aggie Spirit Award and the Gathright Award. Kristina also co-founded a student chapter of Women in Nuclear Engineering during her senior year. She graduated with Foundation Honors, University Honors, Research Fellows Honors, and the Engineering Scholars Program Honors. Kristina is a Fulbright Scholar and went to Switzerland to conduct research at the Paul Scherrer Institute and has now returned to A&M to get a Master’s in Nuclear Engineering. Kristina received a fellowship from the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program. She stated that before she started college, she thought she had to go to an Ivy League university to have a good college experience. She is forever indebted to the Honors Program and Mr. Brown for persuading her to go to A&M because what she found there was greater than anything she would have experienced at an Ivy League University. A&M is unlike any other college in America, from its traditions, to the Aggie Network, to the heart of service that is unparalleled. A&M is her home.
