John graduated from A&M in 2015 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. John was involved with Project Sunshine and was a companion at a nursing home this semester. John said, “In my time here at Texas A&M, I have consistently heard many words that are key to the Aggie experience: Tradition, Honor, Loyalty, Integrity, Courage – all are fundamentally part of what it means to be an Aggie. Most importantly, though, I have seen these words in action among my peers, among the people who teach us daily, and among those who came before me. I came to this university knowing that being an Aggie is a privilege that few can call their own and am grateful for that opportunity. Now that I have graduated, I carry forward into the future the lessons I have learned, the sacrifices I have made, and the people whose lives I have impacted and who have impacted me so that all can see my ring and recognize that I am, and always will be, a Fightin’ Texas Aggie.” John is a refining process engineer for Marathon Petroleum Corporation.
