Jerry graduated from A&M in 2008 with a degree in Biochemistry. He was a University Scholar, served as a Sophomore Advisor in the Lechner Freshman Honors dorm, and served as the Management Executive Officer of the Conference on student government associations. Jerry volunteered as a bilingual teacher’s aide through the Helping One Student to Succeed Program with Bryan ISD, volunteered for the Hematology/Oncology division of Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and performed research with Dr. Cirrillo and Dr. Kladde. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and lives in San Antonio. He stated that his education at A&M has meant everything to him. A&M prepared him well for medical school and also taught him important life skills such as leadership, reliability, and time management. He will always value the education he received at A&M and thanks the Brown Foundation for making this education possible for him.
