David graduated in 1999 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 2003. David is an Associate Professor of Law at SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas. He teaches Contracts, Patent Law, and various advanced patent law courses. His research focuses on patent litigation and policy. He has published articles in the NYU Law Review, Georgia Law Review, Connecticut Law Review, SMU Law Review, Tennessee Law Review, Temple Law Review, the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal, and the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. He and his wife Rachel have three children: Caroline, Emily, and Joshua. He teaches Contracts, Patent Law, and various advanced patent law courses.
