Samantha graduated in 2019 from Clear Falls High
School in League City, TX. Samantha joined the
Society of Women Engineers’ freshman leadership
branch, SWElites. Within it, she was a member of
their service committee and helped organize service
projects (visiting retirement homes, making holiday
cards for hospitalized children, etc.) She volunteered
at other SWE events, such as STEMfest, where she did science demonstrations
for girl scouts. Samantha joined Texas Aggie Game Developers where she
competed in two semester long game jams and produced video games for both
and volunteered at TAMUHack. She volunteered in Chillenium, the largest
student run game jam in the country and served competitors by guiding them
around the MSC and serving them food. Samantha play cello for the Chamber
Orchestra on campus and competed in the integral Bee hosted by the Department
of Mathematics. She came in 2nd place in her division. Samantha will graduate
from A&M in 2023 with a degree in Computer Science with a minor in game
development and design.
