Clare graduated in 2018 from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a Psychology of Diversity Certificate. While at A&M, she worked as a peer consultant at the University Writing Center and founded the Brown Scholars Mentorship program. She also participated in MSC Bethancourt, Big Event Staff, and MSC Lead. In addition to her experiences on campus, Clare conducted research in Vanderbilt’s Department of Health Policy and interned at a health and human services non-profit in Washington, D.C., through Texas A&M’s Public Policy Internship Program. Additionally, Clare spent a semester studying abroad in Bonn, Germany, and participated in the Champe Fitzhugh Italy Trip. Clare’s favorite college memory was giving the commencement speech at her graduation. Following graduation, Clare will be doing government and public services consulting for Deloitte in Austin. She eventually hopes to attend law school to work on social justice initiatives. Clare is incredibly grateful for the opportunities that Texas A&M and the Brown Foundation made possible for her in college.
