Sarah Mannen

Sarah graduated summa cum laude from A&M in 2011 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She attended graduate school at the University of Illinois. Sarah stated that she really enjoyed her time at A&M. Not only did she receive a great education, but also felt like part of a community that cares about each other. Even though the Aggie family is large and diverse, Aggies all share the same values such as hard work, integrity, and respect. Additionally, A&M afforded her a variety of opportunities outside the classroom that made her college education more well rounded and better prepared her for her future studies and career. She was able to participate in research as an undergraduate, and as a result decided to attend graduate school. She was able to spend a semester as a co-op, which was a great way to see the more practical side of engineering. Even though she is moving on, she will always remember the great experiences she had there.
