Christine graduated magna cum laude from A&M in 2010 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She graduated from Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary School. After graduation, Christine did research in the Equine Reproduction Lab, worked for HealthPoint Biotech, and is currently doing research in the Gastrointestinal Laboratory while working on a paper classifying the intestinal microbiota of puppies. She and her husband live in Bryan, Texas. She stated that her education at A&M has been one of the most valuable experiences of her life. Her degree in Biomedical Engineering challenged her personally as well as giving her the tools to design and create novel medical technologies and therapies. She derives a deep satisfaction knowing her biomedical work is a step toward bringing people longer and healthier lives. Her biomedical engineering background transitioned well into research, and the analytical thinking skills she honed gave her a unique perspective for tackling medical problems in the veterinary field. The more she learned in Vet School, the more excited she was to apply her newly learned skills and make a difference in the world. Without her education at Texas A&M, she would not know the amazing fulfillment that comes from doing something you love.
