Summer 2018 Internship:
Brady Allen, a sophomore Brown Scholar, spent the summer season between his freshman and sophomore year on internship with the Commemorative Air Force B-29/B-24 Squadron. As a flight crew member on the B-29 Superfortress FiFi, Brady toured the Eastern United States and Canada, sharing a number of heritage aircraft with thousands of visitors daily. Over the course of his internship, Brady learned how to perform maintenance on seven different aircraft, performing routine inspections and ensuring they were safe for flight. He also assisted with ride flights on the B-29, assisting passengers in their movement throughout the aircraft to give them the greatest experience possible.
